As annually without a break
She comes, guided to her launching
By that dedicated group
Whose tireless efforts
Ensure that she’ll be there.
We come from the land of Gene and Gerry
Also Barry, idols all,
Deservedly so,
To salute those other untrumpted stalwarts,
Who in their own quiet way
Achieve great things.
We feel the annual will, like the ringforts,
Survive.
Each year its many-visaged face
Smiling
Very much alive.
